Aquilla Creek Cottage is owned and operated by Rufus and Courtney (Shore) Brickey. The cottage is located on the old homeplace where Courtney's father, Richard, grew up along with his three brothers, John("Benny"), Norman, and Harold and their parents, Johnny and Pauline (Voss) Shore.  When Rufus and Courtney were married in 1997, the renovation of the homeplace began.....first with the house, then the barn, and now the 'pack house'. With Rufus' eye for detail and the help of his nephew, Jerry Brickey, Uncle Norman, and various other tradesmen, the ole 'pack house' has turned into a beautiful home away from home.
